Einride agreed to place 500 Tesla Semis on its Saga AI platform for Amazon and other customers across five U.S. states. The phased deployment, financed by third parties over 24 months, would triple Einride's deployed electric-truck fleet.

### First U.S. approval puts a driverless electric truck on a public road

After receiving NHTSA approval, Einride ran a two-week operational pilot with GE Appliances in Selmer, Tennessee. The cab-less truck moved finished goods between a factory and warehouse while an operator monitored it remotely over an Ericsson private network.

**The Selmer pilot followed the first U.S. approval for this type of cab-less vehicle.**

### A cab-less electric truck enters commercial service on a public road

Einride's autonomous vehicle moved goods between a DB Schenker warehouse and terminal in Jönköping under a Swedish Transport Agency permit. The route made it the first autonomous, all-electric freight vehicle in a commercial flow on a public road.
