### Jedsy X takes window-docking drones into cities

Launched in Hamburg with Asklepios, the Jedsy X added a digital parachute and redundant systems that clear it to fly over populated areas, a range of up to 120 km, and night and winter operation. Jedsy said it had already signed agreements for 190 routes across Europe.

**Earlier operations were limited to sparsely populated areas; the Jedsy X opened urban routes.**

Laboratory group Dr. Risch began piloting Jedsy drones for medical samples after Switzerland's Federal Office of Civil Aviation approved a route between its labs in Vaduz and Buchs SG. The glider charges at its window dock and launches within 60 seconds, for a lab group that otherwise relies on around 50 courier drivers a day.

**Loading and unloading at the window takes seconds, with no landing pad or courier handover.**
